New project with Mayer Hawthorne

Check this out! New Limited Edition vinyl release of Mayer Hawthorne's 'How Do You Do'! 12 small records (45's) that when put together, create one big image. There are very limited quantities and they're all numbered by hand. I got number 35! Thanks to everyone that was involved!

Vegan Chlostess Creme Filled Cupcakes

Pretty sure this was my favorite day filming with Chef Chloe. Having her friend, Naz in the kitchen (and in the makeup room) made it feel like I was just hanging with friends, not working. And to top it all off, this is one of the best cupcakes I EVER HAD. Watch, learn and make these at home!

I had such a great time at the IMATS today - Being able to meet so many artists that I look up to is so inspiring! I saw TONS of artists at the pro hours - Kim Greene! Koren Zander! Glenn Hetrick! In a city where I see celebrities constantly, I was TOTALLY STARSTRUCK!

Wedding Bliss!

My friends Lauren and Matt are featured on Style Me Pretty today! They were so nice to credit my makeup as well! (Lauren is wearing Temptu S/B foundation, lot's of individual lashes and tons of happiness.) This wedding was above and beyond, every detail was so personal and well planned and just lovely. New music video! "Saturday Night" by Jonti

Here's the latest video in my portfolio - I loved working on it! I have a lot of fun working with Jonti and there was a great team involved. 

On this video Jonti wanted something a little strange... I think we achieved that! I spent the entire shoot laughing and having fun. It hardly feels like work being back at work with Stones Throw.

Someone to look up to

At work with one of the world's best, the definitive brow queen and esthetician - Anastasia Soare

Watching her work was better than watching ANY movie or tv show. I feel very lucky to have worked on her personal team of Estheticans.

Look Good... Feel Better

I've been looking for a group to volunteer with for a good long while, trying to figure out how I can help improve peoples quality of life with my makeup and skincare tips. I was lucky to meet a woman while I was working who was affiliated with the group Look Good... Feel Better. I had never heard of them, have you?

Long story short, I went and was certified to run these classes for cancer patients. I will teach them makeup and skincare tips and practices so they can feel great about themselves. Donations are sent by many companies and each participant is given a (product neutral) makeup kit to take home with them. I am so pumped to start! I found out that this program is run internationally by the American Cancer Society and anyone can sign up to help, not just licensed estheticians, like me.

Sound like something you'd be interested in? if you're not licensed you can go to these classes and provide moral support, set up the stations for the participants and just lend a hand. If you feel this is something you'd like to do, or that you'd like to volunteer Look Good... Feel Better or for one of the many other programs offered, here are some resources to help you on your way.
